*For effective GPS tracking on iPad, it’s noted that a SIM card or cellular coverage is not required; however, a WiFi+Cellular iPad is necessary for location discovery and tracking. Users of WiFi-only iPads may consider external Bluetooth GPS receivers for similar functionality.
